We work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds, including colorless and colored options depending on the design and availability. Diamond origin is one of the choices we discuss with you rather than a fixed requirement of the house. Our role is to help you find the stones that best fit your visual direction, meaning, and budget.

The two stones can be selected independently by origin, color, cut, carat size, and proportion. You can also choose the metal, ring size, and eligible engraving. The Lia Fáil Birthstone Guide can be a starting point for color, but it never limits the final combination or meaning you choose.

Certification depends on the selected stone and configuration. Where a grading report applies, we provide the corresponding documentation from a recognized independent gemological laboratory such as GIA or IGI. Certificate status and stone origin are confirmed with you before the final piece is approved.

Our Custom Design experience is the best place to begin when you want to shape your own Toi et Moi within Lia Fáil’s two-stone design language. Bespoke is for ideas that move beyond those house options — for example, a one-of-one structure, a personal symbol, unusual sourcing, or a detail that needs to be developed individually with our studio.

Of course. You do not need to arrive with a finished design. A milestone, a feeling, a reference image, a preferred budget, or simply a sense of who the two stones should represent is enough to begin. We can help turn that starting point into a clear direction.

Our studio reviews your request first, then confirms feasibility, stone availability, timing, and an initial quote with you. If further development is needed, we refine the design together and prepare CAD or other design details as appropriate. Production only begins after the final direction is approved and the applicable deposit has been confirmed.

Yes. We can ship to most countries and regions served by major international courier networks. Complimentary shipping is included in the product price, and orders are dispatched from our studio. Availability and delivery timing may vary by destination.

Standard or default styles are generally prepared in approximately 15 days. After dispatch, delivery is typically around 15 days and may vary depending on the destination country or region. Bespoke timing is confirmed separately as the design develops.

Eligible non-customized standard rings may be returned or exchanged when a request is submitted within 15 days of delivery. The ring must be new, unworn, unaltered by any third party, and returned with its complete original packaging, security tags, and all grading certificates. For a return, the buyer is responsible for round-trip shipping and related transit insurance; for an eligible exchange, Lia Fáil covers the round-trip shipping. If a diamond grading certificate is missing, a replacement fee of approximately $150–$250 may be deducted from the refund.

Engraved, specially sized, or fully bespoke rings are Final Sale for ordinary returns. If, however, a piece has a manufacturing defect, does not match the final approved CAD or specifications, or is damaged in transit, please contact us within approximately 5–7 days of delivery. Lia Fáil will provide an insured return label and arrange a complimentary repair or remake, with round-trip shipping covered by us.

If the design supports resizing, Lia Fáil offers one complimentary resize within 30 days of delivery. Most eligible designs can be adjusted approximately 1–2 US ring sizes from the original size. Eternity bands, certain engraved designs, and some special metal constructions may not be resizable because of structural or setting limitations.

Custom projects generally begin with a 50% deposit, with the balance due before shipment. If you cancel before CAD work or principal-stone sourcing begins, the deposit may be fully refunded. If CAD design has already been prepared, a design and consultation fee of approximately $300–$500 may be deducted from the deposit. Once you have approved the CAD and the piece enters physical production, the deposit becomes fully non-refundable.
