These Terms and Conditions apply to the official Lia Fáil website and all associated e-commerce services (hereinafter referred to as the “Site” or “we”).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of the United States and the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in California.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and any translated version of these Terms, the English version shall prevail.

When purchasing Lia Fáil fine jewelry, including standard, customizable made-to-order, and bespoke pieces, you agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Customizable / Made-to-Order means that you shape a Lia Fáil design through available choices such as diamond origin, stone color, cut, independent carat size, proportions, metal, ring size, and eligible engraving options.

Bespoke means that the design extends beyond the standard house options and is developed through an individual consultation, which may include non-standard stones, proportions, structures, symbols, sourcing, or story-led details.

A custom project generally begins with a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due before shipment. If cancellation is requested before 3D CAD design work or principal-stone sourcing begins, the deposit may be fully refunded. If CAD design has already been prepared, a design and consultation fee of approximately $300–$500 USD may be deducted from the deposit and the remaining amount refunded. Once you have approved the CAD and the piece enters physical production, including casting, cutting, or setting, the deposit becomes fully non-refundable.

Standard or default styles are generally prepared in approximately 15 days. After dispatch, delivery is typically around 15 days and may vary by destination country or region. We can ship to most countries and regions served by major international courier networks. Complimentary outbound shipping is included in the product price, and orders are dispatched from our studio.

All prices listed on the Site are stated and processed in United States Dollars (USD).

In compliance with applicable California tax requirements, if your shipping address is located within the State of California, we will collect and remit the applicable state sales tax and any local district taxes at checkout. The exact tax rate is calculated based on the shipping address provided.

We accept major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, and other trusted secure payment gateways made available on the Site. For custom projects requiring a deposit, the remaining balance must be paid before shipment. You are responsible for any cross-border transaction fees or currency-conversion fees charged by your issuing bank.

Eligible non-customized standard rings may be returned or exchanged if you submit a request within 15 days of delivery. To qualify, the ring must be new, unworn, unaltered by any third party, and returned with its complete original packaging, security or authenticity tags, and all accompanying grading certificates.

Rings with engraving, special sizing or other client-specific modifications, as well as pieces developed as fully bespoke designs, are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange for ordinary change-of-mind reasons.

Returns: For an eligible return, the purchaser is responsible for round-trip shipping costs and related transit-insurance charges. After the returned item and all required accessories have been inspected and confirmed complete, the applicable shipping amount will be deducted and the remaining approved refund will be returned to the original payment method.

Certificate Replacement: If a required diamond grading certificate is not returned, a replacement fee of approximately $150–$250 USD may be deducted from the refund.

For an eligible exchange of a non-customized standard ring within the 15-day request window, Lia Fáil will cover the related round-trip shipping costs. Exchange eligibility remains subject to the Original Sales Condition requirements above.

If a custom ring has a manufacturing defect, including issues such as a loose or missing stone or a metal casting defect, does not match the final CAD or specifications you approved, or is damaged in transit, Lia Fáil will take responsibility for the remedy. Please contact us within approximately 5–7 days of delivery. We will provide an insured return label and arrange a complimentary repair or remake, with the related round-trip shipping costs covered by Lia Fáil.

Cancellation of a custom order before physical production follows the staged deposit rules in Section 2.3. Once you have approved the CAD and the piece has entered casting, cutting, setting, or another physical production stage, the deposit is fully non-refundable.

If a Lia Fáil piece presents a verified manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly with your order details and photographs so that we can review the issue and determine the appropriate repair or remake process.

If the ring design supports resizing, Lia Fáil offers one complimentary resizing service within 30 days of delivery. To protect structural stability and setting security, eligible rings can generally be adjusted approximately 1–2 US ring sizes from the original size.

Eternity bands, rings with certain continuous patterns or engravings, and rings made with certain special metal constructions may not be resizable because of design or material limitations. Please confirm your ring size carefully before ordering any style identified as non-resizable.

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Guides for the Jewelry, Precious Metals, and Pewter Industries, Total Carat Weight (ctw) listed on the Site is an approximate measurement and actual weights may vary slightly within permitted tolerances. Product listings and order documentation will identify the diamond origin and other applicable product information. Certification is provided or disclosed according to the selected stone and configuration, including recognized independent grading reports such as GIA or IGI where applicable.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Lia Fáil, including its parent company, affiliates, and officers, shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or purchase of our products.
